  • Remnants of the Bastille prison

    In the garden can be found the ruins of one of the eight towers of Bastille prison. They formed the base of the "Liberty Tower" and were initially found 1, Saint-Antoine street in 1899 when line 1 of the subway was being build, but were later moved here in the Square Henri-Galli. Will you find them ?

The place

This very pretty 1925 large triangle-shaped garden is across the Seine, just opposite the Île Saint-Louis. It is named after a journalist and parisian politician of the French Third Republic.
