One of the oldest parisian street, probably laid out in the First century by the Romans, the 650-meter long Mouffetard street goes downhill from Sainte-Geneviève towards Saint-Médard church.
Very lively, it is a busy Latin Quarter's street, with lots of densily-packed restaurants, cafés and shops of all kinds, especially up to the Place de la Contrescarpe coming from Sainte-Geneviève hill. Needless to say that it's a crowded place for a drink at night.
