In context : On the shoulders of giants in the Latin Quarter
(From : Dali's Solar Quadrant). Have just a look at the highly (tourist-)busy block between Saint-Jacques street and Saint-Michel boulevard by taking de la Parcheminerie street, then right into des Prêtres-Saint-Séverin street, and right again into Saint-Séverin street. Go on straight ahead only to turn left into Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre street.
This tea house located not far from Notre-Dame has a quintessential (if not overplayed) british atmosphere. Absolute calm reign supreme here in a nonetheless warm decor. Tea lovers will be pleased to find a variety of their favourite herb from all over the world, as well as hot meals, home-made pastries and jams. Opened since 1928, it is very much worth a try.
