Quite simply Cardinal Mazarin's former personal library (he set it up in 1643), it is now part of the Institut de France.

It has a remarkable neo-classical stairs and, most notably, an impressive 8-meter high and 65-meter long lecture hall.

Visits of the Mazarine Library are allowed during opening hours.
